Man in arrested in Strabane as part of Regency shooting investigation

A 46 year-old man has been arrested in Strabane in connection with a Dublin shooting and will appear in court in Belfast on Tuesday.
The man was arrested by virtue of a European Arrest Warrant held by Authorities in the Republic of Ireland.
The warrant is for the offence of murder and firearms offences.
The arrest is in connection with the murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in Dublin on February 5th of this year.
Mr Byrne’s murder has been connected to a deadly feud between two Dublin-based criminal gangs.
