The Cabinet has formally agreed to appeal the Apple Tax ruling to the European Courts.
The Dáil will be recalled next Wednesday to debate and vote on a motion endorsing the appeal and rejecting any back door attempts by Brussels to attack Ireland's 12.5% corporate tax rate.
After intense discussions in advance of today's meeting, Ministers took just 30 minutes to agree to launch the appeal.
