The Chairperson of the Donegal Hospice has again said that the facility could fold without the support of the community.
Dr James Mc Daid was speaking at the weekend at the end of the “Causeway of Coins” fundraising initiative which has raised over €92,000 for the hospice in memory of Kathleen Ruddy, who passed away at the hospice last October.
Dr Mc Daid says the lifeblood of the hospice is the support of the community, many of whom have seen at first hand the level of care their loved ones have received at the end of their lives.
He says there’s more to what the hospice does than residential care…….
