Police make arrest after seizure of £120,000 worth of suspected herbal Cannabis in Omagh

Police in Omagh have arrested a 23 year-old male after the discovery of £120,000 worth of suspected herbal cannabis after the search of a vehicle in the town yesterday afternoon.
The PSNI also carried out a number of searches in Derry yesterday evening following this seizure resulting in a small amount of suspected herbal cannabis and a mobile phone being seized.
A vehicle was stopped shortly before 3pm on the Great Northern Road with approximately £120,000 of suspected herbal Cannabis and approximately 13kg of suspected cutting agent for class A drugs seized by the PSNI
A 23 year-old male was arrested for a number of drug related offences including possession of a class B drug, possession of a class B drug with intent to supply, conspiracy to supply a class A drug and encouraging or assisting an offence believing one or more will be committed.
Detective Inspector Tom McClure said that their investigation is at an early stage and they are appealing to anyone with any concerns or information to contact their local Police on 101.
