Insolvency expert issues warning about “non-existent” debt register

BadDebtor letter
A debt and insolvency expert in Donegal has warned people to be aware of a UK based company called BadDebtor, which he says is threatening those in debt with public humiliation if they do not pay a ‘fee’ to have their details ‘removed’ from a non-existent register.
Ryan Stewart says his company believes this company are using court judgements, insolvency registers and other information to get details of outstanding debts.
The company has been sending letters which include the logo of the Insolvency Service of Ireland, and the ISI have confirmed this is being done without permission.
Ryan Stewart says it’s a very serious situation, and people should not engage with this company……..
