Donegal bow out of the All-Ireland Minor Championship

Donegal were beaten by Galway in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship Semi-Final at Croke Park today.
Galway won a well contested game by 2-12 to 1-11.
The westerners  had the edge in the first half and led 1-6 to 0-6 at the break.
The Connacht champions then moved into a six point lead with ten minutes left of the game, 2-9 to 0-9.

But an Enda McCormick goal for Donegal then reduced the arrears to a three point game.
The Galway goalkeeper made a couple of decent saves late on to deny Donegal.
In the end, though, Galway were worthy winners.
