Ireland Manager Patsy McGonagle on the Donegal Olympic connection

Rio 2016

The Olympic Games in Rio are winding down this weekend.

Milford's Brendan Boyce had a top 20 finish in the 50k walk on Friday while his teammate Rob Heffernan completed his fifth games with a 6th place finish.

Meanwhile sprint superstar Usain Bolt completed the triple treble of winning nine titles across three Games.

He guided Jamaica to 4-by-100-metres gold - in what's due to be the last Olympics race of his career.

Agent to Bolt is Donegal man Ricky Simms, who is also a coach to Kenyan's Vivian Cheruiyot and Hellen Ousando Obiri who won Gold and Silver in Friday night's 5000m
