The 2016 Mary From Dungloe is the Gaeltacht Mary, Eva Ni Dhoibhlinn.
The 20 year-old was announced as the winner at the crowning cabaret held in Dungloe on Sunday night
Eva was presented with her crown by 2015 winner, Edinburgh Mary Siobhan Dunn.
Eva is currently studying for the B’ Ed in Primary School Teaching in St Pat’s D.C.U in Dublin where she has just completed her second year.
Speaking ahead of the event, Eva said ‘The Mary from Dungloe Festival has always been a major event in our family’s calendar and my family in Glasgow organise their holidays around the festival every year to be here. I feel very honoured to be taking part this year and my family are so excited for me’
