HighlandTV: Patsy McGonagle discusses Rio ahead of his final Olympic Games


Patsy McGonagle will lead an Irish Athletics team for the 4th time at an Olympic Games in Rio.
The Finn Valley clubman has been the manager to the Irish teams since Sydney in 2000 and his trip to Brazil will be his fifth games in total.
They will also be Patsy last in his current role, having made the decision to retire from Olympic management.
Before he set sail for South America he spoke with Highland’s Oisin Kelly about what he expect’s in Rio, scandals in the build up to the games, the Donegal Olympian’s and his treasured memories from his time with Ireland.
