Police appeal after teenager attacked by gang in Omagh

A teenager has been attacked by a gang in Omagh.
The gang were armed with a club or bat when the 18 year-old was assaulted while walking along the Hospital Road at about 3am this morning, after a number of males emerged from a black car.
The victim remains in hospital after suffering serious injuries to his head and body.
Another 18 year-old was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
PSNI Detective Inspector, Brian Foster is appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything to contact police in Omagh on 101.
