Three young people killed in road collision near Drumkeen named locally

The three people who died in yesterday’s crash near Drumkeen, have been named locally as 20 year old mother of two Theresa Robinson, Kaylem Ó Murachaidh and Steven McCafferty- both 19.
Meanwhile the funerals of the two men who died in Wednesday’s crash on the dual carriageway outside Letterkenny will take place tomorrow.
Gardai are continuing to appeal for information following the crash in Drumkeen which claimed the lives of the two teenagers and the 21 year old mother of two.
The crash happened at Stralongford, Trentaboy, Drumkeen, about four miles from Letterkenny.
A 24 year old man was also seriously injured in the head on collision which occurred just before 1 o’clock yesterday morning.
It’s understood that the people in both cars knew each other.
The two men who were killed in Wednesday’s crash on the dual carriageway will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Dermot Boyle (19) and Barney McGinley (28) were both killed instantly when their car – which was travelling on the wrong side of the dual carriageway – struck a van head on.
