Disappointed Derry defender Karl McKaigue said they were in the “driving seat” but somehow lost the game against Tipperary.
Derry were two points ahead but Tipperary won by a single point on a score of 2-17 (23) to 1-21 (24) in Saturday’s All Ireland qualifier at Healy Park in Omagh.
