Civic reception for Patsy McGowan on council agenda

One of the most famous names in Donegal and Irish soccer looks set to be afforded a civic reception by Donegal Co. Council.
Councillors meeting for the monthly meeting of Donegal Co. Council in Lifford today will be asked to give their consent to the hosting of a civic reception for McGowan “in recognition of his outstanding contribution to soccer at a local and national level.”
Patsy McGowan, who is synonymous with Finn Harps, is one of the most successful and colourful figures in the game.
