Young Donegal motor bike racer Rhys Irwin lights up Mondello

Young Donegal motor bike racer Rhys Irwin has been doing great at the Masters Irish championship.
Rhys (14), from Kilmacrennan, was on his 125cc Aprilia over the weekend.
One day one, in race one, he was first in the 125cc and first in the 300cc.
In race two, he was first in both again on his 125cc.
He set a new lap record for the Mondello Masters for the 125cc and 300cc class.
One day two, in race three, he took first again.
He now holds the lap record for international Mondello circuit and the shorter Irish Super Bikes (ISB) Mondello circuit.
Rhys is one of the youngest riders in contention to win the Young Irish Rider of the Year award, which is to be announced in October.
His team has thanked James Gallagher of the Oasis Bar in Letterkenny for sponsoring Rhys this weekend.
