‘March for Mary Boyle’ gets underway later today

A march aimed at highlighting the disappearance of Mary Boyle over 30 years ago will take place in Ballyshannon today.

The 6-year-old girl disappeared in Cashelard near Ballyshannon in 1977.

Earlier this week Gardaí confirmed that a second review of the case - into her disappearance - is being carried out by the Serious Crime Review Team.

The march will get underway in the town at 2 o'clock before walking to the local Garda station.
