The twin sister of missing person Mary Boyle is to file a complaint to GSOC over newspaper reports that there will be a ‘Cold Case’ review of Mary’s disappearance.
Yesterday, it was reported that Gardaí attached to the so-called ‘Cold Case Review Team’ would investigate the disappearance.
In a statement today issued on behalf of Mary’s sister Ann Doherty, solicitor Darragh Mackin said: “It is deeply troubling, that a decision was taken to provide such a development in an exclusive to a national newspaper, before conveying same to our client.”
Mr Mackin confirmed his client will be submitting a formal complaint to GSOC, calling for an ‘urgent investigation’ into the latest developments.
