Euro 2016 round of 16 result: France 2 – 1 Ireland
Ireland’s players were outclassed by France in the second half of today’s match as the French won 2-1.
That is the verdict of Highland Radio’s soccer correspondent Sean Connor.
Ireland got a perfect start with a second minute penalty but Sean said France were stronger in the second half and scored two good goals.
