Donegal’s Manus Kelly and Donall Barrett made history as they became the first crew to win the Donegal International Rally having won the national category the previous year.
Their wonderful victory, by just 0.5 seconds, came at the end of an absorbing rally.
Speaking to Oisin Kelly at the prizegiving ceremony in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, the winning driver from Glenswilly said that it was the stuff of dreams to win and to take victory on the final stage having never led the race until the very end.
