The outgoing Mayor of the Letterkenny Municipal District says he believes the town can do well in the National Tidy Towns Competition for a second year.
Cllr Gerry Mc Monagle was speaking following the visit of President Michael D.Higgins at the weekend for a celebratory event marking Letterkenny’s success last year, taking the national title.
President Higgins acknowledged the involvement of the whole community in what was achieved, and that’s something that Cllr Mc Monagle believes was crucial last year, and will remain crucial into the future.
Cllr Mc Monagle says he believes Letterkenny can maintain last year’s momentum and succeed again…….
