Lifford-Strabane Athletics Club collects medal haul in Belfast

Lifford-Strabane Athletics Club has announced a great day of results from this weekend’s Ulster Outdoors competition at the Mary Peter’s Track in Belfast.
In hammer throwing, Ross Henderson, Angel Durose, Ryan Stewart, Olivia Cuskelly, Conor breslin all got gold medals, while Jude McCrossan and Shane O’Donnell got silver medals, and there was a brilliant performance as well from Ryan Henderson, who got bronze.
In the high jump, Jude McCrossan won gold and Eoin Breslin got a bronze in the U14 boys’ category.
Niall Quinn won silver in the 800 metres Under-16 event.
In the shot putt, Ross Henderson won silver in the U14s and Ryan Stewart picked up silver in the U15s.
Ross Henderson won bronze in the discus, while Sarah Crawford got bronze in the U14s javelin during a great day in Belfast.
