A former Donegal professional boxer was on the undercard when the legendary Mohammed Ali came to Dublin in 1972 to take on Al Blue Lewis at Croke Park.
Paddy Doherty, a national senior champion and Commonwealth bronze medal winner in 1971, turned professional and won 14 of his 16 fights.
