Council commits to make it easier for Tidy Town groups to access funding

The Council has committed to stream lining the funding system for community organisations such as tidy towns groups.
It has been claimed that since town councils were abolished, it has become more complicated for community groups to access funding.
Councilor Jack Murray raised the issue using the Buncrana Tidy Towns committee as an example, he says the group does important work and should be fully supported by the council:
