Donegal reached the Ulster Minor Championship semi final with a 2-11 to 2-7 win over Antrim in Belfast on Sunday evening.

Shaun Paul Barrett's young chargers needed a late surge and two quickfire goals from St. Eunans Niall O'Donnell to progress.

Donegal trailed by five points in the second half and had Eoghan McGettigan sent off while Jason McGee was black carded.

Antrim had a 2-7 to 0-8 advantage in the final quarter but O'Donnell 's goals came within one minute of each other for Donegal to hit the front and see out the game.

O'Donnell ended the contest with 2-5.

Donegal will play the winners of Monaghan or Down in the semi finals.
