Man appears in court charged with murder of Stabane man Michael Barr in Dublin

A 29-year-old man has appear in court this morning charged with the murder of  Strabane man Michael Barr at Sunset House pub in Dublin last month. 

He was arrested on Friday and detained at the Bridewell Garda Station.

Eamonn Cumberton, with an address at Mount Joy Street Dublin 7, appeared before a sitting at the Criminal Courts of Justice today.

The court heard that the accused made no response to the murder charge and that he had no source of income.

An application for legal aid was made and granted.

He was remanded to appear again before Cloverhill court this Friday.
