Cockhill beat Rovers to win a first treble

Cockhill Celtic lifted a season treble for the first in their history on Sunday evening beating Letterkenny Rovers 2-0 in the Ulster Senior League Cup Final at the Dry Arch Park.

By the 35th minute Cockhill were two up thanks to a brace from Garbhan Friel.

Having won the double in the last three seasons, Cockhill's League Cup victory along with the Knockalla Cup and League title means the Inishowen side have taken an historic treble.
