Bomb components found during Strabane security alert

Bomb components were found during today’s security alert in Strabane.
The security alert in the Evish Road area of Strabane has now ended.
The alert began after a suspicious object was discovered during a planned search by officers from PSNI Serious Crime Branch.
ATO examined the object that was discovered in a laneway off the road and have declared it to be the component parts of a viable explosive device.
These have now been removed for further examination.
All roads in the area have now reopened to traffic.
