Tyrone hurling manager Kevin Ryan has agreed that it is very important for the Red Hands to maintain their Nicky Rackard Cup status.
They secured it on Saturday with a relegation play-off win over Fermanagh.
Tyrone won on a score of 3-22 v 1-14.
