USFC Derry v Tyrone Preview – Sludden makes Championship debut

Derry v Tyrone 2
The Tyrone team was named last night for Sunday’s Ulster Championship quarter final with Derry at Celtic Park.
Niall Sludden will make his championship debut in the Tyrone defence.
There are two changes from the team that beat Cavan in last month’s National football League Division Two final
Justin McMahon and Rory Brennan are both ruled out by injury so Sludden and Peter Harte drop back with Cathal McShane and Rory Donnelly drafted in.
It’s an experienced side as Mickey Harte has included ten of the side that started last August’s All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry.
You have to go back to 2009 to when the sides last meet in the Ulster Championship, in recent times Tyrone have won the last four meetings against their neighbours.
Manager Mickey Harte says they have to be prepared for anything on Sunday…

Derry Manager Damian Barton says his side are ready for the challenge ahead…
