Two men appear in court accused of robbery and criminal damage to Killybegs filling station

Two men accused of robbery and criminal damage to a filling station in Killybegs were today ordered in a District Court to stand trial at higher court.
Ivan Crawford, 24, and Gavin Harte, 22, were remanded on bail at Ballyshannon District Court to stand trial at Donegal town Circuit Court on June 7th.
Crawford, of Galliagh Park, Enniskillen, and Harte, of Innismore Rd, Farnamullen, Lisbellaw, Enniskillen, are accused of the theft of €400 and criminal damage to property at Breslin’s Service Station, Corporation Rd, Killybegs, last November 7th.
Harte is also accused of three dangerous driving charges and having no insurance on the same day. They will be tried in the District Court and they were adjourned to September 2nd.
Both men were in court in Ballyshannon and were told that their bail conditions included not visiting the Republic except for court appearances and legal consultations before they appear in the circuit court in Donegal town.
Judge Kevin Kilrane told both that if they were calling alibi evidence in their defence they must give notice to the prosecution within 14 days.
