Jennifer Lawrence has still not learnt the art of walking in heels and a long dress.
The klutzy actress lost her balance as she arrived at London’s X-Men: Apocalypse global fan screening on Monday night in a long silver Dior dress, and almost tumbled to the ground.
She was able to grab an aide’s shoulder and avoid a total wipe-out – especially lucky as it was pouring with rain.
Jennifer has gained a reputation for spectacularly falling over.
Most famously, she tripped up the stairs at the 2013 Academy Awards as she went to collect her best actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, falling on to the steps in her huge Dior gown.
She managed to repeat the performance at the 2014 Oscars, falling to her knees on the red carpet, and had to be helped up by then-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.
Laughing off her endearing clumsiness and critics’ suggestion that she could be playing it up, she told Marie Claire: “I know! I’m trying to do the right thing, waving to the fans, trying to be nice, and there’s a traffic cone.
“The second I hit it, I was laughing, but on the inside I was like, ‘You’re f***ed. They’re totally going to think this is an act.’ If I were Jared Leto, I would completely agree.”
In November 2015, she was again caught on camera falling up some steps at the Madrid premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. The train of her black lace gown got caught in her Jimmy Choo heels.
