Institute made wait on play off second leg

Football
Institute’s second leg of their promotion relegation play off against Ballinamallard United has been postponed.
The league made the decision to call off Tuesday’s game after relegated Warrenpoint Town questioned a suspension given to Carrick Rangers Manager Gary Haveron.
They claim Haveron did not properly serve a three game ban in April.
If Warrenpoint win their appeal, Carrick could face a points deduction which would automatically relegate them and move Warrenpoint into the play off place instead of Ballinamallard.
Institute trail 2-1 after the first leg and the Irish league have postponed the second leg scheduled to be played in Ballinamallard as a precaution.
