Road closures are being implemented in and around Letterkenny this afternoon for the North West 10k, with around 2,000 runners and walkers expected to take.
The race starts at the community centre at 2pm, and while the first runners should be back in shortly after 2.30, theere will be large numbers of walkers on the roads for at least another hour, and motorists are being urged to exercise caution.
