Tomorrow is Census Night, when every person in the country is asked to fill out their census form.
During the last census in 2011, Donegal saw just over 99% of forms filled in and returned, this year, the census coordinators in the county are hoping to get closer to a 100% success rate.
The census provides up-to-date information at local, regional and national levels.
Population statistics are necessary for planning the provision of health care, education and employment while regional data informs government policy.
Deirdre Cullen of the CSO says people will be counted in the place where they are, and marked as absent if they are not in their homes..............
