After a prolonged battle against injury, Moortown’s PJ Quinn has been forced to retire from Inter County Football.

PJ enjoyed a successful career at Inter-County level, collecting an All Ireland Senior Football Championship medal in his debut season in 2008 and this was followed up with Ulster Senior Championship medals in 2009 & 2010.

He played the last of his 46 games for the county against Armagh in the All Ireland qualifiers in 2014 before a hip operation ruled him out for 2015.

Playing 11 times in the Senior Football Championship, PJ also collected Ulster and All Ireland titles at Minor Level.
