Johnny Carter
EastEnders welcomed back an old favourite with a new face as actor Ted Reilly has taken over the role of fan favourite Johnny Carter.
The son of Queen Vic residents Mick and Linda Carter, played by Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright, made his grand entrance when Mick hosted a karaoke night at The Vic.
Walford’s newest actor has popped up in several TV shows including Call The Midwife, Grantchester and Casualty. He has also trod the boards.
Originally portrayed by Sam Strike from December 2013 until the following year, the character was last seen on screen departing Albert Square to go travelling abroad with his boyfriend.
However, fans were not impressed by Ted’s debut.
People wanted Sam Strike back.
