There are four games tonight in the Airtricity League Premier Division with both Finn Harps and Derry City in action.
Derry are joint leaders along with Dundalk, who don’t play until Saturday, so Derry will go top on their own if they avoid defeat at home to Shamrock Rovers.
Aaron McEneff, Ronan Curtis or Keith Ward could start for Derry as Conor McCormack is suspended and Gareth McGlynn is out with a hamstring injury.
It’s a first meeting of the year for managers Kenny Shiels and Pat Fenlon, but they now each other very while from their time in Scotland with Kilmarnock and Hibernian.
Finn Harps are away to Galway – Harps had no game last weekend after their match against St. Pat’s was postponed.
They’ve enjoyed a good start to their season – but face another difficult test tonight against a Galway side who have won both their home matches, and have yet to concede at home.
Ciaran Coll and Ryan Curran are doubtful as Barry Molloy, Sean Houston and Josh Mailey remain sidelined.
Michael Funston could make his 300th appearance for Harps if he features tonight.
Also tonight, Cork City play Wexford Youths at Turners Cross and St. Pat’s host Sligo Rovers.
