Glenswilly goalie named in Sigersons Cup XV

Glenswilly goalkeeper Philip O’Donnell has been honoured as the only Donegal club footballer to be named on the Sigersons Cup XV.
Former Donegal champion Philip, who won the Donegal SFC with Gelnswilly in 2011 and 2013, togged out for DCU in this year’s Sigerson Cup.
O’Donnell had a stellar campaign between the posts and kept a clean sheet in the Sigerson Cup Final against Dublin rivals UCD, but his team lost out on a score of 0-10 to 2-2.
The PhD business student at DCU is only the second Glenswilly player to be named on the Sigerson dream team.
His club-mate Michael Murphy was named on the panel in 2013.
