Derry go joint top after dramatic win in Wexford

A 9oth minute goal from Rory Patterson earned Derry City maximum points as they beat Wexford Youths 2-1 at Ferrycarraig Park.
After a scoreless first half, Conor McCormack put the Candystripes ahead on 69 minutes.
But last season’s First Division champions drew level through their highly rated striker Danny Furlong on 83 minutes.
The home fans thought they had earned a welcome draw but Patterson then struck to give Kenny Shields’s side their fourth win in five games, and this result leaves them second only to Dundalk on goal difference at the top.
