Donegal request hearing on Neil Mc Gee’s suspension

Neil Mc Gee
The Donegal County Board have requested a hearing on Neil Mc Gee’s proposed suspension.
The board had until today to lodge a counter on the one game ban which arose from the heated battle in Tralee last Sunday.
The CCCC met on Monday evening to review the footage and found McGee guilty of a category 3 charge for an incident involving, Alan Fitzgerald which lead to the Kerry man being sent off for striking.
It’s understood the hearing with the CHC will take place next week as Donegal are seeking further clarification on the charge.
Since its a hearing request, McGee is still banned for the game against Roscommon this weekend.
