Donegal to appeal CCCC fine but still to make decision on McGee’s one game ban

Neil Mc Gee
The Donegal County Board will appeal the fine imposed by the CCCC but have yet to make a decision on appealing Neil Mc Gee’s one game ban.
Donegal and Kerry were hit with €7,500 fines for their part in incidents during a heated battle at Austin Stacks Park last Sunday in Tralee.
On appeal, the fines could be reduced to €5,000, the same amount which was put on Armagh and Fermanagh County Boards in recent weeks for a tunnel fracas during their Division Two encounter.
Donegal have until Friday to make a decision on questioning the punishment of McGee who was involved in an incident with Alan Fitzgerald before the Kerry man was sent off for striking.
