Donegal’s league game with Roscommon on Sunday 13th March at the O’Donnell Park could become an all ticket affair or even moved to MacCumhaill Park Ballybofey.
Roscommon supporters have been travelling in large numbers in recent weeks – add in the big Donegal support and the Letterkenny venue which has a capacity of over eight thousand could struggle to accomodate.
Over eleven thousand attended last Sunday’s game with Mayo in Ballybofey.
The game has the potential to be a top of the table clash in Division One and with another large crowd expected the tie could be switched.
Croke Park have been in contact with the Donegal County Board and are monitoring the situation.
A spokesperson at GAA headquarters told today’s Donegal Democrat that no decision will be taken on the following weekend’s fixture’s until the CCC meet next Monday.
