Weather warnings for snow, ice and wind are in effect for Donegal this morning.
Snow has been reported on higher ground as a status yellow alert is in place until 9am this morning, for Connacht, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
A status yellow warning for wind is in place for the whole country up until 10am, while coastal fringes in the north, west and south have been issued with an orange warning for wind which is in effect until 8am.
