Donegal win dramatic match against Mayo

Donegal GAA 2016
NFL Division 1, Donegal 1-14 (17) v 1-12 (15) Mayo
A pulsating game ended with Donegal beating Mayo in Ballybofey in Division 1 on Sunday afternoon.
The action was live on Highland Radio with our team Oisin Kelly and Declan Bonner and 11,000 fans watched at MacCumhaill Park as Donegal won by two points.
With only table-toppers Donegal, followed by Monaghan and Dublin, as the only counties with a 100 per cent record in Division 1, Donegal hoped to maintain their perfect start, while Mayo went for a first league win.
It was a positive start for Mayo and they opened the scoring, with Evan Regan’s registering a point from a free and they led at half-time: Donegal 0-07 v 0-08 Mayo.
In the second half, Neil Gallagher got a black card and Mayo got a goal to give them the advantage.
But Donegal’s Leo McLoone got a goal back for Donegal with 15 minutes remaining, to make the score Donegal 1-12 (15) v Mayo 1-10 (13).
The full-time score was Donegal 1-14 (17) v Mayo 1-12 (15).
Donegal play Kerry next.
