Barry Molloy on verge of signing for Finn Harps

Barry Molloy 2014
We’re just a week out from the start of the new SSE Airtricity League season and Finn Harps have received a timely boost ahead of the new campaign
Barry Molloy – the former Derry City captain – is set to become Ollie Horgan’s latest signing.
The 32 year old joined up with the Harps squad for the first time at training in Letterkenny last night and he could feature in tomorrow’s pre-season friendly against Drogheda United.
His imminent move to Harps comes after he announced his retirement from the game last month.
He played with Crusaders in the Irish League and with Drogheda United, but he’s best remembered for his ten years at the Brandywell.
He turned down an offer to return to the ‘Candystripes’ for the 2016 season claiming the offer wasn’t right for him.
Ironically he could now feature in his first game for Harps against Derry City next Friday night.
