Colleges semi finals start another busy weekend of GAA action

Jordanstown hosts this weekend’s Trench Cup and Sigerson Cup finals –
The semi finals are on today and Letterkenny IT – who are going in search of their first Trench Cup success since 2005, are in semi final action this afternoon against Waterford IT
That game is at 3 o’clock
The Sigerson semi finals are also on today – and there’s plenty of Donegal interest in the tie between DCU and the hosts, UUJ
Patrick McBrearty and Ryan McHugh are on the Jordanstown side while the DCU squad includes Buncrana’s Caolan McGonagle, Philip O’Donnell of Glenswilly and Nathan Gavigan of MacCumhaills.
In the other semi final UCD play University of Limerick.
Elsewhere, the National Hurling League continues with Donegal  back in action this Sunday in Division 2B when they host Armagh at O’Donnell Park.
Ardal Mc Dermott’s side will look to make up for the disappointment of last weekend’s defeat to Mayo.
Tyrone play their first home game, hosting Fingal at Healy Park in Division 3A and Derry travel to Westmeath in Division 2A.
The Derry team shows two changes for their game in Westmeath in Division 2A.
Paddy Kelly of Kevin Lynch’s and Meehaul McGrath of Slaughtneill are both included.
Derry lost their opening game last weekend at home to Antrim.
