The Arts Council says the promotion and funding of the arts at county level is set to change on foot of a new strategy it has reached with the County and City Management Association.
Arts Council Director Orlaith Mc Bride says the funding of the arts will become more streamlined and consistent as a result of the strategy, adding this will be of particular importance in Donegal where there has been a long time commitment to the arts and council and community level.
Orlaith Mc Bride believes this new approach is in everyones’ interests………..
