An Bord Iascaigh Mhara is to invest 1.5 million euro to build a Sea Survival Training Centre in Greencastle.
The new centre will include further expert training by providing a state of the art simulator pool that can reproduce extreme weather conditions, so fishermen can experience what it’s like to be faced with an emergency at sea.
Welcoming the News, Minister Joe McHugh said Greencastle is already very important within the fishing sector and this latest development will add to that even further:
