Derry’s hurlers lose in strong Antrim comeback

Derry’s hurlers welcomed Antrim to Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon and quickly went about taking a quick lead – but they lost as a good Antrim side fought a strong comeback.
Derry had raced ahead 1-03 to 0-02 within 16 minutes in this Division 2A game.
At half-time, it was Derry in front 1-08 v Antrim 0-06.
But Antrim went ahead for the first time after 47 minutes, thanks to a goal for a narrow lead of 1-09 to 1-08.
The full time score was Derry 2-12 (18) v Antrim 1-21 (24).
