Tyrone wins away against Galway in league test

Tyrone won against Galway in the league yesterday despite a late fight back from the Tribesmen.
It was a battle of two counties in form after they both opened their National Football League Division 2 campaigns last weekend with victories.
Mickey Harte’s Tyrone side was in command at half-time this afternoon, with the scores at Pearse Stadium in Salthill showing Tyrone 1-6 Galway 0-5.
The O’Neill County was quickly boosted in the second half with a surprise Sean Cavanagh appearance and a red card for Galway.
Galway did eventually click, but the Red Hands held on for a full score of Tyrone 01-11 (14) v Galway 01-09 (12).
