Specialist divers in Strabane to join search for Sean “Smurf” Diver

Specialist divers from Drogheda are in Strabane today to join the search for missing local man Sean “Smurf” Diver.
The 39-year-old was reported missing last Wednesday, January 27
The last confirmed sighting of him was in the Townsend Street area at around 10pm.
In what the family hope will be the last day of the search, the focus will be on the River Mourne.
Sean’s family have asked for the divers to be allowed do the work and for no pictures to be taken if they retrieve the missing man’s body.
